The leather straps are made from vegetable tanned full grain leather of superior quality.
Full grain leather = thick leather that was not split into thinner layers; it is strong and resistant to stretching.
Each strap is hand cut from Italian leather from the world famous Buttero (Walpier) range. The edges are STRAIGHT cut.
For rounded or pointy cut leave a note at the checkout.
You will receive:
* 2 x luxury leather straps 1" (2.5 cm) wide, ranging between 2.7 to 3.5 mm thick (length of leather straps is chosen at the checkout)
* 2 x 4 cm long screws
* 2 x matching plastic wall plugs suitable for most types of wall
Please note that the wood plank is NOT included as that would skyrocket the cost of shipping. You can use any type and size of wooden planks!
INSTRUCTIONS:
* Drill 2 holes in the wall, at a distance shorter than the plank of wood you will use as the shelf.
As in photos, you will want the wood to be cca 20 cm wider towards the exterior, on each side. Ask a neighbour or friend for help if you can't operate power tools.
* Introduce the screw through the holes punched in the leather straps. Screw tightly.
* Introduce the wood plank through the 2 loops of leather.
Let the gravity do the rest!

The screws have a wide head and the leather is strong, so there is no need for washers.
